Our goal
It is widely agreed within the medical community that individuals aged 45 and above should undergo a minor medical procedure known as a colonoscopy.
Our aim is to spread awareness among all the residents of our community about the significance of having a colonoscopy every five years.
What is a colonoscopy?
A colonoscopy is a medical procedure performed by a gastroenterologist, commonly known as a G.I., to detect any early signs of cancer in the patient's body.
Not only does a colonoscopy examine the body, but it also eliminates any cancerous cells in their early stages known as "polyps" before they can progress any further
Why is it important?
Scientific studies have proven that Ashkenazi Jews have a greater chance of developing cancer in the gastrointestinal,
The good news is that this particular type of cancer can be easily cured. It grows and develops slowly over the years, and if detected early, it can be treated effectively. This can save the life of the person who has been affected by the disease.
How is “Hishtadles” going to help?
Hishtadles is a project created by the "Aizer Health Prevention Department." It has built a close relationship with many local GIs in the past few years, resulting in an effective system for booking and scheduling colonoscopy tests.
